I went to a Wines of Abruzzo tasting in Denver last week-- they poured three Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo and three bottles of Pecorino. It was the first time I had tasted it, and I loved it. The producer I loved the most was Calafiore- really peachy nose, and slight sweet herbal note, too. Such a fun discovery. Great post, Nikki!

Yes, very underrated. I had the Bianco Falerio DOC 2025 Saladini Pilastri in March as the recommendation of the somm in Alto Aldige and was not disappointed. https://www.superiore.de/en/wine/marche/saladini-pilastri/
